Jill and I wanted to thank you for your hospitality during our recent stay at Chateau Nanteuil. We had an excellent few days with you.
I do hope your restoration project goes well and you have many more English visitors. I feel sure we will come and stay with again sometime in the future.

Dear Frederic,
You probably will have some problems remembering me..My name is Diane. I worked at yout Chateau in 1983 for the summer season. Was there with my friend Jayne.. I was/ am the blonde one. Seems like a llifetime away. I'm now married and living in Nürnberg Germany with 2 children..15 and 19. Plus I'm a teacher. Was considering coming to the Loire region in the summer and would probably come and stay at the Chateau. Have very fond memories of my time there..We weren't always that easy but we were young. How are you? Hows Laurent? Would love to hear from you. Unfortunately my french is in hiding...Hope you can speak english.

Dear Mr Thery,

We would like to reserve a double room for the night of Tuesday, September 7th 2010 and preferably either rooms 'Roi' or 'Rose'.
Is it possible for us to have dinner that night also? We will be coming from Dieppe and intend to arrive about 7.00 pm.

I learn't some of my French when I was at Nanteuil about 1958/59 under the guidance of Comtesse de Bernard and ended up being
chauffeur to eight or nine girls who were also there! We await your reply.

Hello Frederic! Great hearing from you, and bonne annee a vous aussi! Wishing you a fabulous 2011. Geoff and I were just reminiscing about our time at your wonderful chateau the other day. All of the food that we have had since the delicious meals that you made for us has simply paled in comparison!!! We hope that we will be able to return one day soon.

Just wanted to say another big thank you for the wonderful stay last week - Geoff and I had the best time staying at your chateau, it was such a unique experience and we are still talking about the wonderful meals that you made for us, the beautiful sights around the Loire Valley, and the good company!!

I also wanted to ask you, if you wouldn't mind letting me know what that website is, that you had mentioned once at dinner - the one that has all the great French recipes that people have passed down through their families, and then submitted to the website? We were so inspired by all the wonderful food we had in France that Geoff and I really want to become good cooks (or at least try!)

Dans la région oû les châteaux ne manquent pas, il est rare d'en trouver un où l'accueil soit si simple et chaleureux à la fois. Il y a beaucoup de noblesse dans la simplicité du gite, comme une envie de revenir, après s'être laissé séduire par ce cadre enchanteur, la poésie de sa cuisine, le calme de ses nuits !

Quelle idée de "faire" les châteaux de la Loire quand on peut mener la vie de château dans celui de Nanteuil...
